Results from Nagashi Open 2007

Thanks to everyone that turned up to support the 1st Nagashi Open Tournament.  It is hoped to make this an annual event.  Lessons were learnt and all comments will be taken forward, to make the next competition more of a success.  Officials were in short supply but thanks to those who did turn up, without whom the competition would not have been able to go ahead.  Thanks also go out to the table officials who volunteered (and also those who were volunteered by others).  It started on time and the smooth running of the categories meant that the event finished well ahead of time, 2 hours early.  The quality of the competitors was of a very good standard, which meant that those who did win were worthy of the trophies.

The British Red Cross said that the injuries were extremely minimal, only having to write reports for two instances.  This is a testament to the control shown by the competitors.
